What is a Jagit?

According to Dockside magazine, the Jagit is “the James Bond of anchors.” The versatility of this stainless steel anchor is small enough to be stowed on any size vessel and resourceful enough to meet a multitude of anchoring needs. The intrigue of the Jagit was originally designed as a secondary anchoring device, to protect fragile sandstone shorelines, which can be found on Lake Powell and Mead. Reality is, the environmental friendly Jagit was also successful when simply tossed ashore behind the rocks and bushes or set as a conventional anchor.
